Jesus, We Love You

Christmas 2010 was a beautiful celebration with our little family and friends. For the first time, we all-out whooped it up for Jesus on Christmas morning. We made cupcakes, sang, and wrote down the "gifts" we want to give Jesus this year (our love, our time, our delight, our helping hands, etc.). It was indescribably special, actually...a tradition we hope to continue each year. We are so thankful for our humble, merciful King. We would be lost without You.

Love from the not-so-civilized Zenz family!

With a Grateful Heart

I've reflected this week on the precious family and friends (both near and far) I've been given. Looking over our photos from this past season, it's clear that God is good. So good.

Dear Julie, we love you.

Let Us Learn

Smarty Party continues at the Zenz home. What a great journey it is becoming, this whole establishing-a-lifelong-love-of-learning thing!

E shares her wisdom with her little friend, Tyler.

The girls got to participate in Operation Christmas Child this year,
including an interactive tour of the nearby collection center.

Out of Doors

Oh, how the Zenz fam loves fresh air. Here are some glimpses of outdoor fun this fall.

Pensive moment on their favorite tree stump

Thanks, Ray Rushing, for this great photo of H!

Pumpkins and Apples

We had loads of fun with carving and caramel this fall!

Big pumpkin. Little girl.

Sweet Slumber

My husband is a gifted artist and excellent project manager. He had a vision for a new bedroom set-up for the girls, so he sketched, researched, recycled, resourced, and made it happen! Here's the progression:

The girls love it. I love it. Well done, my love. Well done. We are so proud of you.
