My Bearded Valentine

My husband has a great deal of facial hair these days, and I'm okay with that. It's just that when I see pictures of it, I'm still a little taken aback. Dear heavens, that's a huge beard.

A few weekends ago, I had the fabulous opportunity to visit my sister Carrie and brother-in-law Dan in Texas (and sister Amy flew in from California, too!). It was my first solo trip since...um, 2002. Every bit of it was lovely. And my sweet husband more than survived at home with the girls. He thrived, making most of every moment the weekend offered.
