Fall is Here!

Here's a little collection of some of my favorite Zenz Life moments from this past week. Oh, how full my heart is for these people.

Best Friends for Life, Baby

Sisterhood is an indescribably beautiful thing, and I love that I get to watch it unfold and grow in front of my eyes. Granted, we often have our not-so-lovely, not-so-peaceful sister moments, but here are some of the don't-forget-this moments I've witnessed lately.

Let Us Play

Here's a little photo collection of early-fall Zenz Life, which actually looks more like late-summer Zenz Life with the recent warm temperatures. Soon enough, we'll be wrapping on the scarves, clutching warm beverages, jumping in the leaves, and snuggling closer as the cold weather comes.

We Are Eight

In September, A and I celebrated eight years of marriage. I love you, sweet love. Thank you for walking this road with me every day. Thanks for making me giggle. Thanks for happy tears. Thank you for knowing me like no other...and loving me still.

And Just Like That: She's Five

Mercy's fifth birthday was quite the celebration in the Zenz home. Five years. A half decade. Wow!

Mercy had very specific requests for her birthday this year, including huge pancakes for breakfast, a jewelry cake (to represent her newly-pierced ears), and a party with friends. Check, check, and check.

We love you, sweet five-year-old girl. You light up our world. You make us laugh. You level us. And your heart...oh, your heart. How it quiets us and, at the same time, stirs up joy we didn't know was there. Happy 5th Birthday, Mercy girl.

On a recent camping trip, E's hair got a little wild while she played in a hammock. Oh, the giggles.

Lately

Here are some recent shots of Zenz Life. It's been a rich, joyful summer for us. Thank you, God, for your good gifts. Thank you for your sustaining grace as we keep learning to love each other well.
