My husband is a gifted artist and excellent project manager. He had a vision for a new bedroom set-up for the girls, so he sketched, researched, recycled, resourced, and made it happen! Here's the progression:

Giddy-Up

For Halloween this year, the girls ruled the west. (Oh, the beauty of costumes found among the treasures in the dress-up box.) They had a rootin'-tootin' good time with each other and their friends. Here's proof.

Yet another original song has been composed and performed at the Zenz Theater. This time, E is the star of the show. Out of total adoration for our daughter, we present this little gem.

Zoology

The girls and I took a field trip to the zoo with our friends Kelly and Tyler. We went first thing in the morning, so the animals were ready to greet us. We had a wonderful time! Though the animals were great, the girls' favorite part was riding the carousel. M was completely confident that it would be awesome. H was pretty non-emotional and maintained her stoic-but-almost-happy face the whole time. Sweet E experienced the entire emotional spectrum: she started out terrified, looked a lot to M for guidance during the first few minutes, started enjoying it about halfway through, and was exuberant by the end. Classic E.
