As Miss H approaches her second birthday in June, A and I have been realizing more and more that our girls aren't babies anymore. We get all misty-eyed about it sometimes, quieted by the quickness of these years. Other times we look at each other and laugh out loud as their little senses of humor surprise us. We adore these three little women, and recognize them as gifts from a good, good Father.
E & H have been setting up their little purple bench a lot lately to perform musicals and the like. The other day, E performed a spontaneous jingle called "Wiggle Your Whole Body." H gladly joined in on the fun. At the end, Baby apparently got the burps. Once again, I'm amazed by these little people and the gigantic smile they bring to my face.
Recently the older two girls went to their friend Jaydn's birthday party. A and I decided to go for a hike with the wee babe. So much fun packed in to a few short hours! (Too much fun for H, apparently.)
After almost six years here, I sometimes still can't believe we live in such a beautiful place.
Going...
Going...
Gone.
Happy girls. Thanks for the great party, Mann family!
Usually all three girls are veeeeeeery relaxed when it's video time, but E chose a new path today. Her sisters, unaffected, maintained their usual position.
Sweet E is 3 1/2 and has not yet gotten a haircut. Bless her. But her hair is finally growing! The other day, I discovered I could braid her hair. And so I did. And I couldn't stop snapping pictures.
